Some more December Daily scrapping.

Boy has it been busy out here and with Asher's birthday and Christmas now over and done with for another year I can hopefully find some time to do some more scrapping, although at the moment most of it has been for my December daily.

I have just updated the Let's December Daily blog with a few of my latest December Daily cards.

You can check out the new post here and the main post with all of my December Daily scrapping so far here.

I did manage to scrap a layout for a challenge at my scrappy day earlier in the month and have only just remembered that I have yet to post it.

Looking ahead.

Created for the White with one challenge blog using a photo taken by the talented Sandie Mallon.

It's been a while.

Oops so much for my Sunday blogging. Yet again.

Things have been busy out here lately. Not too much scrapping happening but that may just change now that I am on holidays.

Most of what I have been doing is for my December Daily album this year.

Here is a sneak peak of my title card and a few of the cards so far.

If you would like to see more you can pop on over to my main post on the Let's December Daily blog. While you are there why not pop in and check out what Mandy, Deb and Bec have been doing.

Just sneaking in on time

for this weeks prompt over at Our Beautiful world.

Chill.

This was taken on our stay up at Cradle mountain in Tassie with my friend Mandy and her two daughters, Hannah and Paige. Definately a chilly time. Especially hugging a snow man.

A little pink share

I have finally gotten around to doing some creating this week using my October counterfeit kit.

My boss at work has recently had a baby girl and I have created something for her. As my posts here are linked to my face book account and she is a friend on there I am only going to show a sneak peek and will reveal the big one once I have had a chance to see her and her sweet little Ellie.

I have also had a little bit of fun just working out how I am going to do my December Daily album this year. Nothing to share on that as yet though.

As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

A layout and some photos to share.

Not too much happening on the scrappy side out here this week but we had a nice day out yesterday at the beach.

Here is my layout for 123  using my October Counterfeit kit.

This is my friends little boy Cohen.

And some of the snaps from yesterday.
I took these for this weeks Our beautiful world word challenge.

In October the weather out here is starting to warm up and it is perfect for heading out to the beach for an icecream , a splash in the water and play on the playground. We have a routine that Asher loves to stick to when we go.

Ice cream first.

Paddle along the beach until we get to the last set of steps back up to the foreshore.

Where she gets to have some fun on the playground on the way back to the car.

Hopefully I will have some more scrapping to share with you next Sunday.

I'm counterfeting again

I had so much fun putting together and using last months Counterfeit kit that I am playing along this month as well.

Here is the kit that I have picked to copy from Cocca Daisy.

And my version.

The photo isn't too clear but I based my kit around some cream and white toned script papers, pink and yellows. I have already had fun scrapping with it which I will share next week as it needs some tweaking.

I also forgot to share a page I did for my Cradle mountain album last Sunday so here that is now.

Enchanted walk.

Our beautiful world

Mandy has been playing along with the photo challenge blog "Our beautiful world"

and I thought that I would join in this weeks "Together " theme.

This is one of my favorite photos of our three girls together while Asher and I were visiting Mandy in July.

Some scrapping to share.

The latest challenge over at Lets get shabby was revealed during the week. Here is my sample. Make sure you pop on over and check out what the other girls have done and welcome our newest member to the shabby team.

Things here for me have been a bit rocky out here and I made this up for a friend who has been my angel lately.

Be happy.

Created using my CHA inspired chalk board kit and for the Studio challenges wings challenge.

Goodbye long hair.

Created using my main counterfeit kit.

I created both of these while cropping on Saturday and I came home to find out that I was selected as 1 of this months fab 5. So thanks for that. I have had fun scrapping with my kits and can't wait to see what kits they have got in store for us to lift next month.

Oops I missed the deadline for this one but popping it up anyway. You need to be inspired by the leaf photo.

Best wishes.

Well that is it from me for now. Hoping to get my scrappy but into gear during the week so that I have got some more stuff to show you.

I scrapped

I had the afternoon to myself today and after finishing the washing and doing a little housework I played with my scrappy stuff.

Sitting pretty.

I've been scrapnapping again. The photo is of my online bestie Mandy's daughter Paige taken on the carousel under the Efiel tower in Paris.

I created this using my big kit created for the Counterfeit kit challenge blog. When Mandy seen the kit I had put together she asked if I wanted to use the photo.

As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

I've been having some scrappy fun

playing along with the challenges at Counterfeit kits.

I've had so much fun putting the main kit together that I decided to do up a smaller one for the CHA bonus challenge.

Here is the paper pack that I have chosen.

I am loving the chalk board effect that is out lately and these embellies and frames are great too.

Here is the kit I put together to work with.

I have added in my kit an assortment of some of my favorite Purple Onion stamps, white letters and rubons to make my own embellies.

I had fun playing around with the stamps, white paint and rubons and made up my own frame to use on a page in my Cradle mountain mini album that fits in with the chalkboard challenge.

As my Cradle mountain mini album is black based I am sure to use more of my goodies from this kit to create a heap more pages in it.

Another challenge that they have this month is to finish of an unfinshed project. When I make cards I like to do up a set of three seeing as I get three card bases from one sheet of cardstock and while I was on holidays in Tassie with Mandy and during our stay at Cradle mountain I started but never got round to finishing the set as my mojo wasn't happening. It just so happened that I had included some of the materials that I had planned on using on all three cards in the main kit that I finished of my card set.

Here is the unfinished set.( Sorry for the bad photo. Was taken at night time.)

When I usually create my card sets I try and make them similar but not this time I decided to do three different cards and even left one without a greeting so that I can add it on later when I need a card for a certain reason.

Card 1

Card 2

Card 3

Sorry for the long post guys. As always thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Counterfeit kit

With me not feeling that great and a few other issues here at home my scrapping mojo has decided to leave me and to help rectify the matter I have appointed my online bestie Mandy as my official scrapping motivator and get my ass into gear kicker.

The first thing she did was to send me over to The Counterfeit kit challenge blog which she has been playing with for a awhile now. The idea of the challenge is to replicate a kit site scrapping kit with goodies from your own stash and then use that kit to play along with challenge that they have and what ever other challenges you feel like.

Here is the kit that I have chosen.

and my take on it.

I love using mint/aqua on my pages so have picked out those colours to build my kit around. Added in some doilies a whole range of letters, stamps and embellies and I am all set to have some fun with my kit.

Last weekend I took Asher out to have her hair cut and to buy some new clothes. Here is a photo from the photo session we had when we got home.
