A little share

I did do more over the weekend but this is all I can share for now.

Pool fun.

Completed for the second round of the chopped challenge over at Challenge masters.

We had to use yellow, 3d flowers and scallops.

That's it for now. Will be back later with a little secret.

As always thanks for popping in any comments and happy creating.

Let's get shabby

This month we would like you to be inspired by the work of Beatrix Potter. I loved reading her books as a child and Missy has a few of them too.

For those not familiar with her works pop over to the blog to check out the details of the challenge and you will find a few links to some helpful sites.

Here is what I created for the challenge.

Welcome little one baby card.

and a matching mini layout too.

Seinna Rose.

These are for a friend who has had a little baby recently. As I don't have a photo of baby Sienna yet and I am not too sure if Mum would like to have her up here on display anyway I printed of a photo of my little Missy to pop in the empty space.

Pop on over and check out what the other girls have done. They have outdone themselves yet again.

Till next time, thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Some photos

With swimming for this term for something different Asher has been doing lessons with a friend who used to work with me. She didn't seem to be progressing all that much in the group lessons with 4 or 5 other children so thought I'd try one on one for a while and see if that made any difference. I think it has. We have been driving up to the river for lessons there and Missy just loves it. I try and get there a little earlier so she can have a play before hand and I managed to snap a few photos.

When we got down there not long after she went into the water she found a jelly fish. It soon became bombarded with sand.

Then it was time for a sand angel.

My girl sure has a way of making me smile.

Love you Missy.

A challenge, some news and some Purple Onion projetcs.

I have had a bit of a scrappy weekend here and enjoyed every minute of it.
Here is what I have done that can be shared just now as some of it is for DT samples.

Devilish cuddles.

This one has been done for a challenge over at Challenge masters. We had to use lime green, paint and circles.

It is a bit hard to tell in the photos but I used one of my Purple Onion stamps from the Stitches stamp set to create my border.

Took me ages to work out just how I was going to do my layout and I love the end result.

Challenge Masters is an American based challenge blog/forum that I stumbled across a few months back and Terri has asked me to join the challenge diva team for 6 months. So looking forward to working with the rest of the team over there.

And here are my Purple Onion dt projects for this month.

Congrats.

One of the girls who does a bit of relief work for us at work is getting married soon and I have made this up to give to her from all of us. As I was taking the photos it struck me that I had made a garter of sorts. lol That totally wasn't my plan but I like the look.

Using stamps from the Hopscotch sentiment and the Labelers set.

A little bird told me.

Using the A little bird and Labelers stamp sets.

Photographed by Sandie.

Another photo from the shoot with Sandie earlier this year.

I have used the Cameras-photographed by, Photographer and labelers sets

I love the way that some of the smaller sentiments are able to be stamped into the mini labels.

Well I think that is all from me for now. Till next time, Thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Scap jack and a few card challenges.

The new challenge is up over at Scrap Jack. I did this layout while retreating a few weekend ago and just love how it came together.

Summer fun

It's often that I scrap yellow but nothing else seemed to do these photos of my besties little boy justice.

 Happy birthday.

One of the girls at work is turning 40 next week so this is the card that I have made for her from all of us there.

I have used my Purple Onion Happy birthday border tape stamp and am going to enter it into a few challenges.
