We have had a nice day here today. This morning Missy and I caught up with Christine for a while and she had fun playing with the two little foster boys she had for the weekend. We came home, had lunch, made a cake and then dh said he was going to take us out for a drive so we got into the car and ended up down near the river. We had a nice walk, an ice cream and Missy's highlight and play on the playground equipment.

Well that is it from me for now.

A card and a layout

Done a while back but not shared yet.

A special memory

Created using a mix of the new Basic Grey papers for my heritage class in November at Just scrapbooking. Photo is of my Nan and her little brother.

Welcome little one.

A baby card for one of the mum's at Asher's dancing school.

I paper pieced the babies clothes. When I was doing this card I popped on a few pearls for the buttons and then decided to cut out the oval with my nesties in my sizzix, forgetting the pearls on it and they got flattened but I like the look and may even do it again.

Here are the copic colours I used

I'm back

no creating just some photos this time as it has been a while since I have shared some of my girls.

There have been a few special days at school in the last few weeks.

Footy colours day.

It was about this time last year that one of Missy's little friends left us to go dance with the angels up in heaven after a long battle with leukemia. Whenever we are out and about at night time Missy always looks out for Paige's star, the brightest in the night sky watching over us. They held a special fund raising footy colours day to help raise money for cancer. Here she is in all her Eagles glory right down to a musical stubbie holder that was playing the Eagles theme song all the way too school.

Sports day.

Was this Friday past and a great day. Missy came fifth in her race and I came home with a touch of wind/sunburn even though I was smothered in sun cream. I was glowing bright red at my crop night.

And some snaps of my four legged girl.

It was about two years ago today that this photo was snapped of Reenie sprawled out on a shed roof that you see as you pull into our carport and it wasn't long after that she was spooked by a dugite, a big snake, in our yard and went missing for about 4 months. While she was missing I scrapped the photo on this layout.

Purrfect spot.

The journaling on it reads.

"I still hope to see you on the shed every time I come home"

I have been waiting for ages to come home from being out to see Reenie on the shed roof again and that day was yesterday. I pulled in, ran inside to grab the camera and managed to snap this.

Stay tuned for this is sure to be on layout very soon.

And this one too.

On the weekends Missy knows that she is allowed to sleep on the lounge one night and it was last night this weekend. She had been playing with her Pinkie toys (little people) for most of the day and they were all over the lounge rug with the fence pieces forming a big circle. In the circle was a mound of cushions and rugs that Reenie decided to claim for the night.

Well that's it from me for now. Will be back some time soon to share my latest page for Just scrapbooking.

Till then thanks for popping in, any comments and happy creating.

Another challenge card

I have been having a little bit of fun with challenge sites lately. Here is a card I did up with some scraps on my table after finishing of an up coming dt layout.
